  2. Diperlukan 270 gr of terigu cakra pao.
  3. Diperlukan 70 gr of gula.
  4. Gunakan 20 gr of santan bubuk (sunkara).
  5. Diperlukan 2 gr of vanili bubuk (1 sachet koepoe).
  6. Diperlukan 1 of kuning telur.
  7. Gunakan 1/4 sdt of garam.
  8. Siapkan 1 sdm of margarin/butter (BOS).
  9. Siapkan 2 sdm of susu cair, masuk terakhir.
  10. Sediakan 6-7 gr of ragi instan -1/2 sachet (saf instan).
  11. Diperlukan 1/2 sdt of baking powder (pakmaya).

I love to play with the dough when I started making basic Chinese steamed buns (Mantou) at home. Set up the steamer by adding enough cold water to a large pot. Yesterday, I got myself busy in the kitchen again and made pumpkin steamed rose buns. Few days ago, I bought a small pumpkin that I wanted to turn into a cake, bread or buns.

Langkah-langkah memasak Rose pumpkin steamed buns

  1. Labu dikukus 20 mnt dilumatkan pakai sendok), siapkan bahan yg lain.

  3. Bentuk bulat, jika tangan lengket oles dgn minyak goreng/butter, tutup plastik wrap/serbet basah diamkan 1 jam.
  4. Setelah 1 jam adonan naik, kempiskan/ keluarkan udara, naiknya hanya sekitar 1,5x aja, tdk terlalu tinggi, uleni bentar, bagi @50 gr jadi 11, bentuk sesuai selera, aku bentuk mawar sesuai judul (bayanganku adonan ini bakal ngembang besar ternyata tdk, akhirnya sebelum dikukus aku ganti alas kertas dgn ukuran yg sesuai). Diamkan lagi maksimal 30 menit saja langsung kukus, jangan lebih, krn mirip adonan bakpao kalo over proofing kuatir keriput setelah dingin.
  5. Cara membentuk mawar : ambil 1 adonan, gilas tipis memanjang dan kesamping, sisihkan. Ambil lagi 1 adonan gilas tipis memanjang dan kesamping, adonan ke 2 letakkan diatas adonan ke1, menutupi saporo bagian adonan ke1, gulung, kemudian potong ditengah (lupa td tdk ambil foto).
  6. Siapkan panci pengukus, jarak air jgn terlalu dekat dgn kue ya, spy bawah kue tdk basah kena air, lebih bagus kalo sarangannya lubang besar, tutupnya panci beri serbet utk nyerap uap air.
  7. Kukus maksimal 12-15 menit jangan lebih ya, supaya tekstur mulus. Rose pumpkins steamed buns siap dinikmati.
